Where every story is a spell
A workshop for fantasy and LitRPG fiction — sagas, isekai, and stories where the world hands you a class and quietly decides what you'll become.
Everything here is a work in progress. Titles are tracked by real drafting status, not by wishful thinking.
Unchosen Champion — official class system
Stats are your body.
Skills are your tools.
Classes are your cage.
When the system activates it offers you three classes. It will tell you they are tailor-made. It will not tell you the third factor that decides which one it shows you.
Those modifiers are invisible by design. Users never see the tax — they just notice some stats are harder to raise. This page is showing them to you anyway, because it's a website about a book.
The Grimoire
A book of unwritten spells
Each entry carries its real drafting status from the studio ledger. Nothing here is published, for sale, or available to read — and the status shown is the status earned.
-
Deep canon · Book One
System Apocalypse
Eli Reeves wakes on an island he can't leave, with a system profile that installs nothing — no UI, no class, no store. Everyone else got a cage. He got silence.
Next Bring the earliest unclean chapter to a clean draft.
-
Deep canon · Shared universe
Crime System Apocalypse
Viola Ferverde works a city where the system rewards dependence. World bible and structure are locked. No prose yet — and saying so is more honest than a blurb.
Next Draft the opening scene when it enters an active slot.
-
Deep canon · Meridian, Kansas
Untitled Superhero
Xavier Rowe. The prologue is drafted; the story around it is being restructured, and the prologue will be rewritten to match. An honest description of a work mid-surgery.
Next Finish the restructure decision, then redraft the prologue to match.
-
Pulp · Writers'-room format
Kindling Road
Serialised in writers'-room format. Episode One is locked; Episode Two is being planned beat by beat. Momentum over elegance.
Next Build the "First Toll" beat for Episode 2.
The Workshop
How this gets made
-
01
Everything is tracked
One line per project in a single ledger, with a status and one concrete next action. Ideas, outlines, drafts and stalled work are all visible — including the stalled ones.
-
02
Three projects, not nine
A hard cap on what may be active at once. The cap is the point; without it the pile grows and nothing finishes.
-
03
One physical action
Not "work on the book." The specific scene. A ledger you can re-enter in five seconds is worth more than a beautiful plan you never open again.
Awaiting the owner's decision
The next page isn't written yet
GrimoireWorks has no call to action yet — not because it was forgotten, but because choosing one is the owner's call, not a designer's guess. So this space is left honestly empty rather than filled with a form that goes nowhere.
